We don't carry those roles, so our rate doesn't have to cover them. The engineer who scopes your work is the engineer who does it. And because we only work in Google Cloud, there's no ramp-up period on your invoice — no one is learning GCP at your expense.
That's also why every service on this site has its starting price published. A security audit starts at $500 because that is genuinely what it costs us to do well — not an anchor to negotiate up from. If the scope grows, we say so before the work starts, not after.
